About us
We were born on refuse trucks and from there we expanded.
Dimma started in 2002 as a company for managing and monitoring refuse trucks. Over the years, and with experience, it expanded into the other sectors.
Where we come from
From refuse trucks to the other sectors
At the beginning there were refuse trucks: weighing the load while the vehicle works, recognising the bin being emptied, sending the figure to whoever runs the service. That is the problem the company grew up on.
Over the years, and with experience, the work expanded into the other sectors. The same load cells, the same boards and the same software now serve industry, quarrying, agriculture and transport as well: what changes is the vehicle body, not the trade.
The waste world is still the starting point, and the catalogue shows it: street bins, recycling islands and collection centres still have a product family of their own.
What we do
From the board to the software, no middlemen
Every link in the chain stays in-house: the board design, the manufacturing, the software that reads its data and the support for whoever uses it.
