Access control

Features

It is the electronics that governs entry to the recycling island and to the collection centre: it recognises the user, drives the relay that opens the barrier, gate or door, and records the drop-off. It needs no structure of its own, it is fitted wherever it is needed. It works entirely on site, with a local Wi-Fi access point and no connection to the servers, or remotely with DimmaWeb: where there is no network, authorised users and records stay in the unit and are downloaded there. Together with SmartCover you also know who dropped off and how much every drop-off weighs.

08.1Fitted wherever it is neededIt is electronics, and it brings no structure of its own: it goes where the recognition is needed, at the entrance that is already there.
08.2User recognitionRFID UHF, NFC, barcode, magnetic stripe, national health card or electronic ID card: no app to install, no codes.
08.3Barrier and gate controlTwo C-NO/NC relays drive a barrier, gate or door, with an arm up to 3 metres.
08.4All on site, or remotelyYou choose as the situation requires. On site all it takes is a local Wi-Fi access point, with no connection to the servers: users and drop-offs stay in the unit and are downloaded there. Remotely, everything goes through DimmaWeb.
08.5Managed from DimmaWebAuthorisations, opening hours and access rules are changed from the browser, without going to the site.
08.6Drop-off logUser, waste stream, date and time for every entry, exportable to your billing system.
08.7Messages for the userAn LCD 4 × 20 display shows instructions, the outcome of the check and warnings, in the language you need.
08.8Together with SmartCoverWith the bin covers you can analyse who dropped off and how much every drop-off weighs, for each user and each waste stream.
